The Awards Fellowships mean to build networks of influence and leadership by strengthening partnerships between Australian institute and other partner country. It also gives short-term opportunities for in-Australia study, study and professional development activities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To apply in the Australia Awards Fellowships, the students Australian need to get that all students Fellows pay the following general eligibility requirements: :
- act minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencing the Fellowship
- Not be a permanent citizen or be applying for permanent residency in Australia or partner of someone who is
- act citizen of an eligible country
- Not be current serving military personnel
- act to satisfy all needs of the Department of Home Affairs for (DFAT sponsored) student visas subclass 500
- Be able to participate in the Fellowship.
- act to travel without family members as DFAT will only fund and give visa support letters for individual Fellows, not their family members
- Fellows with a disability that needs assistance need travel with a carer
